Le Partite di Oggi – 21 Ottobre 2014 – Champions League

Il programma calcistico di martedì 21 Ottobre 2014: in primo piano la fase a gironi della Champions League 2014/2015. Questa sera la Roma di Rudi Garcia affronterà il Bayern Monaco allo Stadio Olimpico. I giallorossi scenderanno in campo per vincere; a dirlo è stato Daniele De Rossi seduto accanto al suo allenatore in occasione della conferenza stampa della vigilia. Anche un pareggio potrebbe andare bene per avvicinarsi al passaggio del turno, ma non sarà questo l’obiettivo della Roma.

Sarà interessante vedere come si comporterà il Bayern Monaco avendo di fronte un’avversaria che gioca a viso aperto invece di rintanarsi nella propria metà campo. A guidare la Roma in campo ci sarà il suo capitano Francesco Totti, al centro del tridente per innescare la velocità di Iturbe e Gervinho. In difesa rientrerà invece certamente il greco Manolas dopo aver scontato la prima giornata di squalifica in campionato, mentre esiste un ballottaggio tra Yanga Mbiwa e Astori per affiancarlo. Duello invece tra Torosidis e Cole per il ruolo di terzino sinistro, con il greco leggermente avvantaggiato sull’ex Chelsea.

I tedeschi fino ad ora si sono dimostrati solidissimi in difesa – anche grazie all’apporto dell’ex Benatia – e non subiscono gol da quasi due mesi. Una bella sfida per la Roma che fino ad ora in Champions ha segnato meno reti solo rispetto a Real Madrid e Porto. Sia la Roma che il Bayern Monaco guarderanno con interesse alla partita tra CSKA Mosca e Manchester City, le altre due squadre del Gruppo E. Per gli inglesi è una sfida da vincere assolutamente per non rischiare l’ennesima uscita di scena prematura in campo internazionale.
